The Shekinah Collective
The Shekinah Collective is a day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). We are a Medicaid provider who is authorized to provide Mill Levy SCC (Supported Community Connections) through RMHS (Rocky Mountain Human Services). We also offer NMT (Non Medical Transport) to and from the program.
Clients will enjoy learning fiber arts skills such as weaving, loom knitting, and felting, as well as singing, cooking, and participating in activities in the community. Our goal is to respect individual differences, always working to better understand those we serve.
Now open! Located near Monaco and Colfax.
The Shekinah Collective is now authorized to provide residential services! Every year, millions in client funding goes to pay expensive agency fees and overhead. The Shekinah Collective is dedicated to keeping those costs down, and passes the savings to you, helping you pay for more care and support. If you have a loved one who requires residential support and are interested, we would be happy to discuss your individual needs!
Program Hours: Monday through Thursday 10am to 4pm
"ElizaBeth really sees (our adult daughter) as an individual, not as a diagnosis or a list of problematic behaviors. She has been an incredibly positive influence on (our daughter) and on us."
-SW
"I have been impressed by her deep respect for the dignity of others, especially those with disabilities. She encourages others to be successful when they may not see it for themselves."
-EK
"We feel extremely fortunate to have our son enrolled in the Shekinah (Collective) Day Program. The staff set him up for success from the very beginning, as he transitioned from being home (during the pandemic) to participating in their program full time. Their expertise, support, flexibility, and open communication have played a key role in our son thoroughly enjoying and growing through their program. (The) Shekinah (Collective) has made a world of difference for him and our entire family."
-MV
Shekinah: The English translation of a Hebrew word meaning "dwelling" or "settling"
Collective: A cooperative enterprise

About Us
Elizabeth Wildemaan
ElizaBeth began working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 1987. She has worked with I/DD adults for 10 years and has raised a son with autism. Through her educational background, she has studied child development for over 30 years. Knowledge of child development is also of great value when working with adults because many adults still struggle with unmet childhood developmental challenges. If these unmet developmental stages can be identified, remedial work can help ameliorate the challenges.
